Charity Will Week is where the team at Acorn Solicitors donate their time to write Wills in exchange for a donation to one of our chosen charities.
During this time, we ask for a donation to one of our six chosen charities in return for drafting a standard Will. The suggested donations are £180 for a single Will, £250 for couples Wills and £120 for amendments – saving our clients money while raising funds for these fantastic charities.

SWEDA is a regional charity supporting people affected by eating disorders across the South & West of England. Set up in 1992 by a group of people with eating disorders and their loved ones, SWEDA provide a range of services for people struggling with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and more. We enable and empower people to improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing, helping them to be as healthy as possible, offering information, guidance, training and support.

Age UK Somerset is here to make sure no older person in Somerset or North Somerset has to face the challenges of ageing alone. As an independent local charity with 350 dedicated Volunteers, we take on the toughest issues – loneliness, isolation, financial anxiety and declining health – so older people feel supported and know they have somewhere to turn. We provide lifelines: home visits, friendly calls, expert benefits advice, dementia support and welcoming exercise groups. Our help can be the difference between an older person feeling isolated and alone, or living with dignity, company and support.

Happy Landings Animal Rescue is a dedicated Animal Rescue Centre in Pylle, Somerset, that has rescued more than 10,000 animals since it was first established in 1983. From dogs and cats to ducks and chinchillas, the charity provides expert care, shelter, and rehabilitation for neglected and abandoned animals. Run by a small team of staff and volunteers, it relies heavily on public donations to continue its vital work.

Towards Tomorrow Together supports people affected by baby loss and those who care for them across Somerset, and the surrounding areas. We offer help before, during and after loss, in grief, and in subsequent pregnancies. Our services include memory boxes, therapies, doula support, advocacy, 1:1 and group support, family events, a memorial service, and tailored packages for individual needs. We also work with local hospitals, providing resources, bereavement training and ongoing support through referrals.
